Korean actress Lee Na-eun, soccer player Lee Kang-in caught dating; deny it

Korean actress Lee Na-eun, 24, and soccer player Lee Kang-in, 22, have been caught dating. 

Korean media outlet The Fact published an exclusive report on Jan. 2 showing the two on a date.

Lee Na-eun is a former member of K-pop girl group April and starred in the 2019 drama “Extraordinary You.” Lee Kang-in is a member of South Korea’s national soccer team. 

According to The Fact, it received a tip about Lee Na-eun and Lee Kang-in. It said the date between them took place in her car and at her home. 

It added that on Nov. 14 and 15 last year, ahead of the soccer match, Lee Na-eun visited the underground parking lot of the Yeouido Hotel, where the soccer team's accommodations were located, and enjoyed a car date with Lee Kang-in. 

After the game, they spent time around Lee Na-eun apartment complex in Gyeonggi Province.

On Nov. 14, after training, Lee Kang-in returned to a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul where he was staying with fellow national teammates. 

After resting, he went to the basement parking lot at about 8 p.m., looked carefully around and got into Lee Na-eun’s car.

The Fact report stated that the car date continued the next day. Lee Na-eun waited for Lee Kang-in in one corner of the hotel parking lot. Afterwards, Lee Kang-in, holding a cell phone in his hand and wearing a hat, naturally got into the car while looking around.

On the afternoon of the 17th, the two enjoyed a date at an apartment in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, Lee Na-eun's home. Lee Kang-in, who left the apartment around 7 p.m., wore thick padding, a white hat, black horn-rimmed glasses, and completely covered his face with a mask.

On Nov. 17, a day after South Korea won over Singapore, Lee Na-eun and Lee Kang-in spent a date at her apartment. He left the apartment at 7 p.m., wearing a face mask and glasses. 

Lee Na-eun, who came out before him, also sat in the driver's seat wearing comfortable clothes, wearing a hoodie and a padded jacket. 

The two walked a few meters from the apartment elevator to the car, but hurriedly boarded the car while being aware of their surroundings, the report stated. The vehicle stopped and Lee Kang-in bought ice cream. 

Lee Na-eun denied he is dating Lee Kang-in. 

In an interview with The Fact, Lee Na-eun said, "We are acquaintances. We are not lovers.” 

When asked about the multiple meetings with Lee Kang-in, she claimed, “It was to get (game) tickets.” 

Namoo Actors, Lee Na-eun’s agency, also denied the report, saying, "We confirmed the relationship between the two, but they said it was no more than an acquaintance or friend."

The person in charge of Lee Kang-in’s domestic management in Korea declined to give an answer, saying “I have nothing to say.”
