DENR-CENRO staff robbed of P270,000 TUPAD payroll money

REAL, Quezon – A Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Community Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-CENRO) employee was robbed of the payroll money for Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) workers in her house here on Saturday, January 13.

Police said the victim Rubelyn, 29, lost payroll money amounting to P270,000 and P119,000 and personal valuables. Victim was robbed of a total of P436,700.

Investigation said Rubelyn was awakened by a monitor that fell near the jalousie window and saw an unattached jalousie on the lower panel then discovered that her two backpacks with money and gadgets were missing.

Her pouch and a long tree branch used to grip the stolen items were found outside the jalousie window.
