Tony Bishop comes up huge for Ginebra in Legazpi City

With the Road Warriors hanging tough in the end game, Bishop drained a long bomb against the shot clock to put the Kings ahead, 101-97, and claim the much-needed win that ultimately sealed their spot in the Top 4.

Ginebra ended the eliminations with an 8-3 win-loss record and while it remained tied with Meralco, it went on to nail the incentive by virtue of a superior quotient.

Bishop finished with 27 points, 13 rebounds and four assists while Christian Standhardinger had an all-around effort of 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Jamie Malonzo contributed 16 points while Maverick Ahanmisi and Stanley Pringle chipped in 13 markers apiece.

DeAndre Williams-Baldwin pumped in 27 points and 14 rebounds in a losing effort for the Road Warriors.

Despite the loss, NLEX, which dropped to a 4-7 slate, remained in the hunt for a playoff spot but will need to hope for a TNT loss in its final game against Phoenix to at least get a shot for a knockout game for the eighth and final spot.
