LG receives a ton of rewards at CES 2024

life is good. They have recently introduced a large range of technologies and innovations at this year’s CES. William Cho, LG CEO, has also taken the opportunity to emphasize the company’s transformation into a Smart Life Solution Company as part of their Future Vision 2030. In life with that vision, LG will be keeping a sharp eye on the developments of AI and how they will integrate it into their devices.

Now for all the other good stuff LG has shown. The LG Signature OLED T. T for transparent. Yep, this is a TV with a transparent screen. 4K OLED images appear as if they are holograms, which adds a bit of mystique to the technology. And yes, it can become opaque. LG boasts being transparent allows you to freely place it anywhere. It really is something to brag about.

Of course, you cannot simply be content with the TV. You need the LG Soundbar for total immersion. LG’s soundbars have reached so far in terms of design, they become part of home styling.

Now, some of you may not know, LG has a laptop lineup as well. It’s rare for me to see one out in the streets, but they exist, and they are nice alternatives if you’re a big fan of the brand. The new LG gram Pro laptops use Intel Core Ultra chips with an NVIDIA RTX 3050, all slotted in slim form factor.

Thanks to a certain short-form video app, I learned there is a dedicated diehard community of tumbler owners. And it’s quite a rabbit hole. Now, LG has developed the MyCup Tumbler Washer, because you just cannot be bothered to wash your own tumblers anymore – especially if there is a large collection. Why indeed, would you need to wash them, when you can just switch out with the next one, right? It’s a habit some of us have and these unwashed tumblers will stack up leading to headaches in the sink. This is really a solution for those who have a lot of tumblers – I know, I have way too many tumblers myself, gifts from here and there.

That’s most of what LG has shown at CES. Don’t forget about what we reported earlier, about the DukeBox and the Bon Voyage, two very cool gizmos from LG. It’s a shame they aren’t making phones anymore, I’ve been a big fan of theirs since the G2 (anyone remember that?). Maybe someday.

We’ll keep an eye out for LG. For sure they still have plenty to show yet.
