Classes remain suspended in parts of Northern Luzon due to 'Julian'


Classes remain suspended in parts of Northern Luzon on Tuesday, October 1, as typhoon “Julian” moves away from the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

In Ilocos Norte, Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc cancelled classes on all levels in public and private schools.

Also extending class suspension on all levels in public and private schools were the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan.

In Apayao, in-person, online classes, and work from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and Alternative Learning System were cancelled.

In Cagayan, Gonzaga, Kindergarten to Grade 12 in public and private schools; Lal-Lo, all levels in public and private schools; Aparri, all levels in public schools;  and Tuao, all levels in public and private schools.

In Abra, all levels in public and private schools, including ALS; Batanes, all levels, public and private; Baguio City, pre-school to senior high school, public and private; and Benguet, all levels, public and private.
