Man busted for P3.9 million shabu in Taguig


Operatives from the Taguig Police arrested a 31-year-old man in a shabu buy-bust operation on Sept. 21. 

The operation was conducted by the Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Ususan at about 7 p.m.

Arrested was alias Joshua, listed by the police as a high value individual, who yielded 580 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.94 million. 

Authorities also recovered one genuine P1,000 bill along with 40 pieces of P1,000 counterfeit bills used as buy-bust money, and a plastic pouch utilized in the transaction.

The seized drug evidence will be turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for analysis while the arrested suspect is under the custody of the Taguig Police. 

A complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against him by the police.
