Fun, entertainment, and surprise filled the air as realme Philippines once again gathered the community to celebrate at the realme FanFest 2024 on Thursday, August 28, at the Quantum Activity Center in Gateway Mall II, Cubao.

Global technology-manufacturing brand realme celebrated its sixth anniversary in the Philippines with a terrific festivity, the realme Fan Festival - the brand’s annual event to connect with the fans called realme Squad and to give back to them. It’s a gathering of a tech-enthusiast community like no other.

This year’s realme FanFest put on a full pack of activities, competitions, and memorable performances from local artists.

The festivities started with an electrifying dance performance as the creative unveiling of the monet-inspired realme 13 Pro Series 5G and new AIoT devices - the realme Buds T310 and realme Watch S2.

Guests and mall goers flocked to the venue of realme FanFest 2024, Quantum Activity Center in Gateway Mall II, Cubao, on August 28, 2024.

One of the main highlights was when director and photographer John Manalo shared an inspiring talk about photography and his experience with the Quantum Activity Center in Gateway Mall II, Cubao of Ultra Clear Photography of the realme 13 Pro Series 5G. He shared tips and tricks on photography and how best to use the series’ latest camera capabilities.

“Smartphones today can compete with DSLR cameras because of the integration of AI technology… For me, [the perks of having a mobile camera like realme 13 Pro Series 5G compared to a DSLR camera] are the portability and ease of use - because you don’t have to fix the settings regularly because of its AI features. Then, versatility, as you don’t have to change lenses with mobile cameras. Like in the realme 13 Pro series 5G lens, it has 24mm, and its telephoto camera has 144mm. You can already narrate through photos using these. And finally, it is discreet, especially when doing street photography. Sometimes, people get shy when we are taking pictures of them. Using a phone lessens their shyness as it is subtle.” He said during the one-on-one interview with the host, Aiyana Perlas.

“I enjoy using AI Smart Removal the most. It already exists in other third-party apps, but in the latest realme device, it is already in the photo app. It has a lasso tool where AI identifies the precise cut needed and makes the edit seamless.” he added.
