Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. paid tribute to the late veteran film producer and Philippine entertainment pillar Lily Yu Chu-Monteverde, more affectionately known as “Mother Lily” Monteverde, who passed away on Aug. 4, 2024, at 85.

In Revilla’s resolution that the Senate adopted, the chamber expresses its profound sympathy and sincere condolences on the demise of Monteverde and recognizes her magnificent talent and legendary artistry, which immensely contributed to the country’s arts and culture, especially in the film industry.
