Carika Dolls, maker of unique hand crafted doll-like figurines made of foam materials from Baras in Rizal Province, have made their version of 2024 Paris Olympics gold medalist Carlos Edriel  "Caloy" Yulo.

The doll makers, twin sisters Lorichelle Celestra Alapag and Lorily Celestra Darag, told Manila Bulletin that the Caloy version is their way of giving appreciation and gratitude to Yulo who brought home to the country, two gold medals for his remarkable feat in the recent Olympic games in Paris, France.

“We made the doll appears to be maneuvering on the vault just like what Yulo did when he got the second gold in the men’s vault finals, “ Lorichelle said.

The twins hope that they personally meet Yulo to congratulate them and give them his doll version.

The Caloy Carika Doll is the latest addition to the collection of foam figurines of the siblings which includes their own version of Pres. BBM; Pres. Duterte; and Pope Francis among others.

Yulo's Paris Olympics achievements made him the first Filipino to bring home two gold medals in the Olympics history for the Philippines.
