The local unit of Japan Tobacco International (JTI) said the cigarette company would streamline operations and enhance working conditions across all its branches nationwide.
In a statement, JTI Philippines said that its 38 branches in the country will undergo facelift, beginning with its new branch in Las Piñas, the company’s largest unit in the Greater Manila Area.
JTI’s Las Pinas branch employs 134 sales and office staff out of the company’s overall Philippine team of around 5,500 people.
“It’s the first branch in the country to benefit from the company’s comprehensive branch plan, aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing working conditions, underscoring JTI’s commitment to quality and excellence,” the company said.
Last Aug. 2, JTI Philippines formally inaugurated its new Las Pinas branch, attended by JTI General Manager John Freda, Regional Sales Director-GMA Carlo Capistrano, Market Supply Chain Director Roald Johann Yap, Sen. Mark Villar, People & Culture Director Ari Wisnubroto and Sucat Area Sales Manager Jesseruel Magat.
“Each of JTI’s 38 branches nationwide will undergo a similar facelift in the coming years to better serve the company’s customers and employees,” the company said.
