Malabon LGU releases 2nd tranche of ‘Malabon Ahon blue card ayuda’

The Malabon City government on Wednesday, July 31, released the 2nd tranche of the Malabon Ahon Blue card ayuda for 2024.

The local government aims to help Malabueños tend for their various needs as the city continues to recover from the effects of Typhoon Carina.

Nandito ang pamahalaang lungsod para sa inyo (Apart from our continued provision of food packs, hygiene kits, and other assistance to those affected by the flooding caused by the high tide and the southwesterly strengthened by typhoon 'Carina,' we will also distribute the second aid under the Malabon Ahon Blue Card. May this help supplement your needs. We feel the hardship you have suffered due to the recent calamity, that is why I promise that we will not abandon you. The city government is here for you),” Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said.

Around 83, 891 Blue Card holders are expected to claim the ayuda including the 1,699 Malabueños who did not claim it during the first tranche.

All qualified beneficiaries will receive a text message from the Universal Storefront Services Corporation (USSC) or they may check the list of eligible blue card holders for the second ayuda posted on the Malabon Ahon Blue Card Facebook page before they withdraw the cash assistance.

The release of the second ayuda is part of the city government’s third Walang Tulugan Serbisyo Caravan and residents can withdraw the cash aid at any BancNet-powered ATMs starting July 31, at 4 p.m. until Aug. 30 at 11:59 p.m.. They can also claim the aid at any USSC branches nationwide.

This aid from the Malabon Ahon Blue card is part of the city government's initiatives after the typhoon that caused flooding in the city. They can use it to buy their needs such as food, groceries, medicine, and so on. Our only request is that you claim your aid so it won't be forfeited and you can join the qualified beneficiaries in the next aid),” City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete said.
