Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos is brimming with hope following the recent State of the Nation Address (SONA) of his father, President Marcos.

On Tuesday, July 23, the presidential son took to Facebook to upload photos and share his thoughts about the annual event, which kickstarted the third regular session of the 19th Congress.

"As our Chief Executive enters his mid-term filled with accomplishments and hope for our nation’s future, Congress is ready to support his agenda and work collaboratively to seize opportunities and address the challenges ahead," Rep. Marcos wrote.

"We will continue to strive for progress, ensuring that the needs and aspirations of our people are met with dedication and commitment," added the 30-year-old House of Representatives member.

"Together, let us move forward with unity and purpose toward prosperity for all Filipinos. Mabuhay ang Bagong Pilipinas! 🇵🇭 (Long live the New Philippines!)" he said.

President Marcos delivered his third SONA before a joint session of the House and Senate last Monday, July 22.
