P9.8-B illegal drugs seized in Calabarzon from January to July 2


CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4-A confiscated illegal drugs worth P9.8 billion and arrested 6,269 suspected drug pushers in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon or the Calabarzon region from January 1 to July 2.

PRO 4-A chief Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas said that they conducted 4,866 operations in which 1,442,568.49 grams of shabu and 21,794.90 grams of marijuana valued at a total of P9,813,102,504.90 were seized.

The extensive anti-drug operations underscore the commitment of the PRO 4-A and unwavering support of the community to combat the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region, Lucas said.

“This achievement is a testament to our relentless commitment to eradicate the selling and trading of illegal drugs from our communities,” he said.

With the active support of the community and collaboration with our partner-agencies, our efforts have borne fruit, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure a drug-free region, Lucas said.

The PRO 4-A called on the public to remain vigilant and supportive of the government and Philippine National Police efforts against dangerous drugs.
