The LCPC is the “umbrella organization for all children’s concerns,” according to the DILG.

Each LCPC was assessed based on the following factors: organizational sustainability, 20 percent; policies and plans for children, 30 percent; budget, 20 percent; and service delivery monitoring and management for children, 30 percent.

The Muntinlupa LCPC’s 100 percent rating is equivalent to “Ideal,” given to those which achieved a rating from 80 to 100 percent.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon said this is the third consecutive year that the Muntinlupa LCPC received an Ideal rating.

“Nagpapatunay lamang ito na priority ng lungsod ang kapakanan ng mga batang Muntinlupeño sa pamamagitan ng mga policies, programs, at activities (This only shows that the city’s priority is the welfare of the young Muntinlupeño through policies, programs and activities),” he said.

In 2023, the Muntinlupa LCPC got an “Ideal” rating of 97.71 percent and in 2022, it received 97.6 percent.
