TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Police recovered marijuana worth P3.6 million following a collision between a motorcycle and a car before dawn on Sunday, June 23, in Sitio Nasgueban, Barangay Appas, this city.
Investigation said the motorcycle sideswiped the car and crashed.

The car driver called the police for assistance but the motorcycle driver fled towards Dagupan Centro and left behind a back pack and carton.
Police Lt. Col. Jolly N. Ngaya-an, Tabuk chief of police, said lawmen opened the carton and found 25 bricks of dried marijuana leaves and stalks and three tubular dried marijuana leaves and stalks weighing more or less 30.2 kilograms valued at a total of P3.6 million.
Ngaya-an said that they are pursuing the courier.
