"Receiving an unmodified opinion from COA for nine consecutive years is a testament to the dedication and integrity of the entire Navotas City Government. It reflects our steadfast commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparency in serving the people of Navotas,” he said.

Tiangco also highlighted the significance of the acknowledgment in establishing public trust and upholding good governance practices in city administration.

The mayor expressed his gratitude to the city government officials and employees for their hard work and care for city residents.

"We applaud the collective efforts of our dedicated department heads and employees. Their diligence ensures that every cent of our constituents' money is accounted for and utilized effectively for their benefit," he said.

"We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our fellow Navoteños for their continued support and trust in our administration," he added.

The city’s public information said that the unmodified opinion indicates that Navotas has consistently presented its financial position, financial performance, and cash flows fairly and accurately, meeting the stringent requirements set by COA and the Philippine Public Sector Accounting Standards.
