The collaboration is a large-scale global project by Illumination, Universal Products and Experience, and Big Hit Music to commemorate the theatrical release of 'Despicable Me 4' and the new appearance of the character Poppy, a fan who loves BTS and an aspiring villain, Korean media reported.

With the launch of ‘Despicable Me 4’ and BTS’ limited product capsule collection, which was created based on collaboration art inspired by the iconic costumes of BTS’ single album “Permission to Dance” in 2021, pop-up stores in Los Angeles, Seoul, and Tokyo will be opened to meet fans from around the world.

The limited product capsule collection, which can be pre-ordered online at the Weverse Shop in the US from the 19th in North America to July 1st, consists of various categories of clothing and accessories such as t-shirts, hoodies, training suits, and tote bags, and features images of BTS members. It is made with a Minions character that embodies the member’s appearance.

The collaboration product will be sold at “BTS ♥ Despicable Me 4” pop-up stores starting from Los Angeles to Seoul in Korea and Tokyo in Japan, and will also be released in stores and online at American fashion distribution company Nordstrom and fashion brand Urban Outfitters.

In addition, the Funko Pop! seven-pack set, sold exclusively at Entertainment Earth, will also be available for pre-order from June 21.

“Despicable Me 4” will be released in theaters in South Korea on July 24.
