Kim Chiu is undoubtedly one of the busiest actresses in Philippine showbiz. She is not only busy with her variety shows and teleseryes, but she also has her hands full with numerous endorsements. One is bound to ask: How does Kim spend "me" time? How does she keep herself grounded?

The Kapamilya princess gave fans and the public a glimpse of how she practices self-care during her launch as the face of the new Hello Melo Beauty Drink of Brilliant Skin Essentials, owned by young influencer-CEO Glenda Victorio.

When asked how she takes care of her mental health, Kim replied that the key is indulging in her daily exercises.

"I take care of my mental health sa workout. Sobrang laking tulong talaga ng workout. Gumigising ako ng 6 a.m., so I work out  ng 7, 7.30 a.m. Malaking tulong talaga ang workout, not just physically, but also mentally. Kahit mabilis lang, 30 minutes to one hour. Basta mag mag-walking kayo, or running," she advised.

(I wake up early for my workouts. It helps a lot to clear my mind. It gives me a lot of energy. It prepares me for my work at 'It's Showtime.' I recommend 30 minutes or even one hour of workout. Running or walking is okay.)

Kim added that despite recent developments in her life (like her celebrated break-up with Xian Lim), she always aimed to cultivate a positive mindset because, like most people, she believes that "life is short."

"Just live in the moment, mabuhay ka lang.

(Just live because life seems fleeting after the Covid pandemic. Just do what makes you happy and beautiful.)

Kim added.

(If you are doing well in your life, it will reflect in your mental state. It will reflect on your face if you're happy with your life. You will look beautiful because you don't make a problem out of things.)

As someone who came from humble beginnings and transcended her status in life, the Chinita Princess gave valuable advice to people who faced their struggles.

(My parents raised me to go past problems. Because no one else will help you but yourself.)

"May problema ka emotionally. I-Work out mo. Mag-work out ka. Sumayaw ka. Gawin mo kung anong gusto mong gawin," she stated

(If you are struggling with emotional issues, work it out or do a workout. Dance. Do anything that you would like to do.)

(If you have no one to talk to, seek out your family or friends. There's always a way out of struggles. We don't stop if there's a problem or our life will stop.)

Beauty CEO Glenda said it took some time before Brilliant Skin launched a new endorser to follow the stints of Andrea Brillantes and Alden Richard. Although there were a lot of celebrities that the brand had to choose from, Glenda said Kim was her go-to choice because she's a fan of the actress and watches her shows every day.

Hanggang "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim." So, napapanood talaga namin siya," Glenda stated.

(We watch Kim every day, notably her shows "Linlang" and "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.")

The Brilliant Skin owner stars with Kim in a catchy commercial to introduce Hello Melo to the public. Glenda admitted that she was "intimidated" at first by Kim's presence, but the two struck up a friendship in no time.

"Sobrang jolly person nya.

(Kim is so jolly in person. She just enjoyed her TVC shoot. I am happy because I could tell her all the details of my life story.)
