There are no Filipinos injured in 4.8 magnitude earthquake that hit the Noto Peninsula in Japan on Monday morning, June 3, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said.
Citing reports from the Migrant Workers Office in Osaka, the DMW said the quake happened at 6:40 a.m. (Japan time), off the Noto Peninsula located at the northern part of Ishikawa Prefecture in Honshu, Japan's main island.
“MWO-Osaka is working closely with Filipino communities and Japanese authorities to ascertain the safety and status of our overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the region,” the DMW said in a statement released on Monday.
It said the MWO-Osaka is continuously monitoring all the affected areas.
