Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan lauded the officers and staff of the Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center (GABMC) for its exemplary dialysis services.

Headed by its Director Dr. Ted Martin, Lacuna-Pangan lauded GABMC for always improving their services to provide better services for the constituency they serve.

She said GABMC is the the home of the biggest dialysis center in the country as it operates 100 machines to provide free dialysis services to Manileños.

The mayor also noted that GABMC escorts their patients to and from their hospital as the personnel understands that each patient spends four hours for dialysis after which they feel too tired and weak.

"Sobrang pagod po, kaya minabuti natin na ihatid at sunduin sila sa kanilang mga tahanan nang sa gayon, makakasiguro tayong ligtas silang makakauwi sa kanilang mga tahanan (It's tiring, so we better drop them off and pick them up at their homes so we can make sure they get home safely)," the local chief said.

"Bagamat primary hospital pa lamang, lahat ng serbisyong ibinibigay nila ay hindi matatawaran (Although it is only a primary hospital, all the services they provide are unbeatable)," the mayor said.

"Patuloy nilang itinataas ang antas ng pagbibigay ng medical services sa kanilag ospital gayuindin po sa ating ibang limang ospital sa buong Maynila (They continue to raise the quality of the medical services in GABMC as well as in our other five hospitals throughout Manila),” she added.

The GABMC is one of the six hospitals being run by the city government offering free medical services in all of Manila's six districts.
