Caloocan City gov’t announces adjusted class schedules due to hot weather


 

The local government of Caloocan City on Friday, April 5, announced the adjusted class schedules for April 8-12 due to the prevailing hot weather.

In coordination with the Caloocan Schools Division Office, the following are the adjusted class schedules for Kinder to Senior High School:

 

Morning classes

Monday & Tuesday - Face-to-face classes (6:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

Wednesday & Thursday - Asynchronous

Friday - Face-to-face classes (6:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

Afternoon classes

Monday & Tuesday -Asynchronous

Wednesday & Thursday - Face-to-face classes (6:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

Friday - Face-to-face classes (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) 

 

The city government said it is up to the discretion of private school administrators to suspend classes or implement alternative modes of learning in their respective schools. 

Meanwhile, the University of Caloocan City (UCC) also released its class schedule on April 8-14. 

For the College of Education, Liberal Arts, Criminology, Business and Accountancy, and Graduate School, classes will be online.

Face-to-face classes will be implemented for the College of Law, all On-the-Job Training (for all courses), and in-campus extracurricular activities. 

The local government reminded the students to be careful because of the possible threat of heat stroke and other complications due to rising temperatures.
