Twelve barangays in Quezon City have received the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB) from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday, May 29.

The city government said the SGLGB is a performance assessment and recognition system for barangays that showed good governance.
The following are the barangays that passed the assessment:
• Barangay Balingasa
• Barangay Central
• Barangay Commonwealth
• Barangay Culiat
• Barangay Kamuning
• Barangay Marilag
• Barangay Obrero
• Barangay Pansol
• Barangay Sikatuna Village
• Barangay U.P. Campus
• Barangay Batasan Hills
• Barangay Holy Spirit
The local government unit (LGU) noted that the recognition will motivate barangay officials to promote honest and efficient governance.
