Audiophile's inaugural 'Harman Experience Day', held recently, was a significant platform that brought together nearly a hundred audio, video, and lighting (AVL) professionals from diverse sectors. This event, attended by representatives from broadcasting companies, churches, event management companies, AVL rental companies, AV system integrators, and professional audio engineers, provided a unique opportunity for networking and learning about the latest industry trends.

The event was enriched by the insights shared by notable speakers who are experts in their respective fields. These included Nicole Buenaventura, Country Manager of Harman Philippines; Randel Laureta, Application Engineer of Harman APAC; Tia de Guzman, Marketing Communications Manager of Audiophile; and Gary De Guzman, General Manager of Audiophile.

The JBL PRX ONE, showcased at Audiophile's inaugural “Harman Experience Day,” delivers a powerful 130 dB of wide, full-bandwidth coverage, impressing attendees with its consistent front-to-back throw and compact design.

 

Other featured products included the BRX, SRX, and VTX series. Tia de Guzman highlighted the JBL BRX Series as a versatile line array system ideal for bands, DJs, AVL rental firms, and houses of worship. She emphasized its plug-and-play simplicity, built-in corrective signal processing, smart transport system, and hassle-free rigging hardware, making it accessible to users without extensive audio engineering training.

The SRX900 Series line array was also presented. It is designed to deliver powerful, perfectly tuned systems that are easy to use and rugged enough for demanding applications. This series combines JBL's premium transducers and enclosures, Crown's proprietary front-end DriveCore technology, user-configurable digital signal processors (DSP), and full HiQnet Network control compatible with various platforms.

The VTX Series was also introduced as JBL's next-generation tour sound solution for mid-to-large-size touring applications and high-end fixed installations. Designed from scratch to meet the challenges faced by tour sound professionals, rental companies, FOH engineers, and live production crews, the VTX line is renowned for its high performance, system integration, and user-friendliness.

Audiophile, the Philippine distributor of Harman since 1981, organized the event. The company began in 1973 as a one-man trading operation specializing in sound equipment and became an SEC-registered corporation under the name Audiophile Components, Inc. on January 16, 1981.
