Manila LGU to hold medical mission in Tondo on May 25


The local government of Manila invited Manileños to join its major medical mission which will be held in Barangay 131, Tondo, Manila, on Saturday, May 25.

Manila Vice Mayor John Marvin “Yul Servo” Nieto announced that the medical mission will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Pinoy Street in Balut, Tondo.

Nieto said that all services provided during the event will be free for everyone.

Some of the services available to residents include medical and dental care, free medicines, minor surgery, blood sugar screening, urine testing, and eye consultations.

Free facials, massages, lice removal (alis kuto), and haircuts will also be offered at the event.

Nieto added that there will be face painting and arts, and viewing activities to entertain the children.

The Kusina Manileño will provide free meals to residents attending the event.

Manileños can also receive free legal advice and civil registry information services.

Cat and dog owners can also bring their pets for rabies vaccinations.
