CAAP starts probe into La Union plane crash


The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has started conducting an investigation into the air accident involving a training aircraft in a shoreline in La Union on Monday morning, May 21. 

In a statement, the CAAP said it has already created an inquiry and investigation board to determine all the circumstances that led to the crashing of the light plane in Barangay Canaoay in San Fernando town.

"The CAAP has sent investigators to find out the origin of the said incident," the statement read.

The crash inflicted injuries to the flight instructor and the student pilot.
