QC LGU partners with fast food company to provide jobs to QCitizens

The Quezon City government on Monday, May 6, announced their partnership with Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) to provide more jobs to QCitizens.

As part of the collaboration, they will offer work opportunities to more than two hundred (200) persons with disabilities and senior citizens.

Spearheaded by the Persons with Disability Affairs Office, a series of Disability Awareness and Sensitivity Training (DAST) and Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Training were conducted to human resources managers, supervisors, and branch managers.

“This partnership exemplifies the spirit of solidarity and compassion that defines Quezon City. Together with JFC, we are breaking barriers and fostering a culture of acceptance, where everyone, regardless of ability and age is given the chance to thrive and excel,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said.

The partnership signifies a step toward building a more inclusive society, where everyone is valued and empowered to pursue their dreams.
