More film productions came in before the pandemic hit. That’s why, Boy So, owner of La Carmela de Boracay, has already lost count of the number of famous personalities who got to stay for business and pleasure at La Carmela with most of them eventually becoming his friends.

Accent pieces in La Carmela’s Premier West Wing lobby such as the tables and chairs in vibrant hues, the uniquely designed mirrors and massive lights were the creative ideas of Jude Tiotuico of Industria. The rustic brown roundshaped mirror is called Iguazo while the rectangular mirror is known as the Nuvo Twig.

The intense colors of Philipp Badon’s eye-catching paintings complement the vibe of La Carmela’s front desk and reception area. Currently, there are 540 guestrooms and suites to choose from. There are five suite rooms and nine premier ocean view rooms with smart TV, home theater, bathtub, toiletries, coffee and tea kits, safety deposit box, hot and cold shower, mini-fridge, and in-room telephone.
