“Griffin Entertainment, drawing its name from the legendary guardian of priceless relics, is dedicated to safeguarding and nurturing our artists. We strive to provide a sanctuary where artists can thrive and let their distinct gifts and talents illuminate the world,” the agency posted on its newly established Instagram account.
Jang Moon-seong, CEO of Griffin Entertainment, said, “I’m happy to be with Onew’s new beginning. We will spare no effort in providing active support in many ways so that Griffin Entertainment can become a haven for artists.” He was reported to be the former manager of singer Zico.
On April 1, agency Big Planet Made announced it has signed up Taemin. The agency manages K-pop artists Viviz, Ha Sung-woon and Ren.
Taemin and Onew debuted in SHINee in 2008. Their group activities under SHINee will still be managed by SM Entertainment.
