BTS’ J-Hope’s ‘Hope on the Street’ album sells 441,333 copies on first day of release

BTS member J-Hope’s special album “Hope on the Street Vol. 1” has sold more than 400,000 copies on the first day of its release.

The “Hope on the Street” project consists of the “Hope on the Street” documentary series that premiered on Prime Video on March 28 and the special album “Hope on the Street Vol. 1” released on March 29.

Each episode of “Hope on the Street” will showcase the six tracks from “ “Hope on the Street Vol. 1,” according to Big Hit Music.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, J-Hope’s “Hope on the Street Vol. 1” sold a total of 441,333 copies on the first day of release on March 29, equivalent to a physical record index of 541,392, which topped the daily physical album chart.

On iTunes, the album took the No. 1 spot in 38 countries and regions including the Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, Mexico, Taiwan, Vietnam and India.

Including the sales on March 30, “Hope on the Street Vol. 1” has sold 442,550 copies in the first two days of release.

Meanwhile, the docu series “Hope on the Street” landed in the top 10 in 19 countries and territories on Prime Video.
