2 wanted persons caught in San Carlos City


BACOLOD CITY – Police apprehended two wanted persons in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, February 7.

A 19-year-old man, tagged as the ninth most wanted person in the province and third MWP on the city level for rape, was arrested in Barangay 3.

Warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Amy Alabado Avellano of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 58 in San Carlos City on February 2, 2024. No bail was recommended for the suspect.

A 31-year-old man,  the eighth MWP on the provincial level, was also nabbed in Barangay 3.

His arrest warrant was issued by acting Presiding Judge Reginald Mercurio Fuentebella of the RTC Branch 59 in San Carlos City. No bail was also recommended for the suspect.

Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, director of Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas, assured the public that they will continue to work tirelessly to apprehend all wanted persons, delivering justice to those who have fallen victim to criminalities.
