Disputing the crown are John Kevien Jimenez of the Chao Sy Stable of Cebu City and Jason Brillo of MP Boxing Davao City.

The Jimenez-Brillo clash promises to provide fistic fireworks given the two punchers’ impressive records.
Jimenez is unbeaten with a 6-0 card with three knockouts while Brillo only has one blemish in his eight fights six wins coming by way of knockouts.

Presented by San Miguel Pale Pilsen and shown every Sunday at 8:30 pm on One Sports, the Pacquiao-backed television program aims to give Filipino boxers the chance to showcase their wares on a regular basis.

Pacquiao himself used to fight under the Blow-By-Blow banner during the 1990s and the eight-division legend swears the next ring star could come from this popular weekly primetime show.

“I was just like these young fighters, determined and motivated to make it big,” said Pacquiao, whose staging of the slugfest here has the full support of lawyer/CPA and city mayor Stephen Palmares, vice mayor Elyzer Chavez and DENR undersecretary Jesry Palmares.
