The fitness competition’s inaugural edition saw 1,200 participants across four countries in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia, making its comeback for the second year more exciting and challenging.

This year, UA Combine is expecting to see athletes from diverse sports and training disciplines at the iconic SM Megamall Megatrade Hall on Nov. 19, competing against fellow Filipinos for a shot at the total cash prize pool of P680,000.

Before the official competition kicked off, Under Armour saw some of the participants in the fourth leg of the UA COMBINE’s Train To Win session on Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Active Sports in Mandaluyong.

Even more interestingly, Under Armour has decided to lower the entry age to inspire more young athletes, aged 16 to 18 to compete and win Under Armour products worth P50,000 for the top male and female youths categories, respectively.

The registration for the UA COMBINE 2023 is now open to 350 competitors. All participating athletes will be receiving a full set of Under Armour competitor gear on the event day.

“Under Armour is a performance brand that continuously challenges the benchmarks in human performance in order to make athletes better. Through the UA COMBINE, we not only spotlight individual achievements of the Filipino athlete, but we also raise the bar for what is possible for all of us to achieve,” says Justin Olivares, Marketing Director for Under Armour South Asia-Pacific.

Participants are also encouraged to form a group of four and compete as an individual and as a team. The scores of each individual on the team will be totaled to a team score, making the team with the highest score win P80,000 worth of Under Armour gear.

The UA Combine has set up a total of eight physical and mental tests devised by Under Armour‘s global head of athlete performance, Michael Watts, with each test challenging the athlete’s agility, stamina, vertical, power, endurance, strength, speed and cognition.
