An employee of the Muntinlupa City government placed in the top 5 of the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE).
Niña Alviar, a certified public accountant who works in the Office of the City Treasurer, scored 91.38 percent to place fifth among 5,626 examinees in the BCLTE administered by the Civil Service Commission last June.

Alviar has been working in the Muntinlupa treasury office since 2016 and has served as administrative officer since 2018.
“I only prayed for a passing score but You gave me so much more. Thankful sa family and friends na sooobrang supportive palagi. And to Sir Al who pushed me to take this exam dati pa, late man ako pero sana I made you happy up there,” Alviar posted on her Facebook account.
City Treasurer Erwin Vibora posted on Facebook, “Congratulations, to our very own, Ms. Niña Alviar, CPA and Local Treasury Operations Officer III from the Office of the City Treasurer, Muntinlupa City for being Top 5 in the recent Local Treasurer Eligibility Examination held last June 11, 2023 with a grade of 91.38% and passing rate of 18.09% or 1,018 out of 5,626.”

Your outstanding performance in the basic competency on local treasury examination is an inspiration, and we look forward to your continued success in our field!” he added.
The 1,018 who passed the BCLTE were conferred local treasurer eligibility by the CSC.
“The Local Treasurer Eligibility is a second level eligibility appropriate for appointment to Local Treasurer and Assistant Local Treasurer positions, and to positions under the Financial Services that do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by Bar/Board or special laws,” according to the CSC website.
Alviar graduated from the Muntinlupa Science High School and was a scholar under the Muntinlupa Scholarship Program from 2011 to 2015. She passed the CPA licensure exam in October 2015.
