PDEA nabs 3 top drug suspects in Nueva Vizcaya buy-bust

Government anti-narcotics operatives arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 6, three drug people listed as high-value targets in a buy-bust operation in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the operation in Barangay Bonfal West at 1:50 p.m. led to the arrest of Mario Alden Gaspar, 25; April Galpito, 29 and Marvin Driza. 50. 

After receiving information from tipsters, the PDEA carried out the operation as the three high-value targets were the subject of numerous complaints in the community and neighboring areas.

The PDEA agents confiscated more or less 605 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves with stalks and fruiting tops worth P72, 600.00; more or less five grams of suspected shabu valued at P32,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; one unit android and two keypad cellular phones; P5,958 cash and buy-bust money. 

Gaspar, Galpito and Driza face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
