For over two decades, the Philippine Cancer Society has helped raise millions through its Best Dressed Women of the Philippines Awards Ball. It’s here where the most prominent men and women gather to contribute to what is considered by many as the most successful fundraiser in Manila.

This year, it took the event to greater heights as it commemorated its 20th year through a charity gala held at Shangri-La The Fort, BGC, on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Hundreds of attendees filled the Grand Ballroom for the prestigious event. Anywhere you looked, you would find beautiful outfits worn by equally beautiful people. As the tables were filled with its esteemed guests, the ambiance of the room felt livelier than ever as you could feel the support people were throwing toward the Philippine Cancer Society’s efforts in the battle against cancer.

First to grace the runway for the night were the Philippine Cancer Society’s Ambassadors for Life. It was followed by a speech by Angola Consul Helen Ong, whose efforts are the reason the charity ball receives much of its draw. A notable highlight from the event was the special auction of the glass sculpture, On Mother’s Lap 2023, by the renowned Filipino glass sculptor Ramon Orlina. Just as dinner was served, guests were treated to the Men of Influence taking the stage to show off their fine suits. Right after them, the Dr. Roberto M. Paterno Awards were handed over to its special awardees. Finally, capping off the night, the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines showed off their beautiful dresses and left the crowd with a great impression.

Those who missed the event can still marvel over the lovely dresses of these wonderful women by purchasing the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines coffee-table book. Each purchase will also help in funding the various charitable events held by the Philippine Cancer Society.
