CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Police arrested a 42-year-old tricycle driver in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Santo Nino, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija on Wednesday, September 27.
Alias “John” was nabbed after he sold one heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer.
Seized from the suspect was a total of 0.9 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board value of P6,120.
John will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police vowed no letup in the campaign against illegal drugs.
“Rest assured that NEPPO will remain proactive in the campaign against illegal drugs and will enforce all laws to refrain criminals from their nefarious activities,” Nueva Ecija police chief Police Col. Richard Caballero said.
