Kapuso stars Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo discuss their first day filming the new series "Love Before Sunrise," an extraordinary story about lost love and missed chances.

During a press conference, Bea admits feeling uneasy working with Dennis on the first day of shooting.

"Sa tutoo lang, may ilangan. Ako naiilang ako kasi we had to do a scene na dapat kami na. Nasa relationship na kami so parang medyo mahirap siya kasi kailangan muna uling makilala ang isa't isa but then we're professional actors. We got over that quickly to make the scene work," says Bea.

(I felt uneasy when we were tasked with a scene where we needed to portray a relationship. It seemed challenging as we needed to get to know each other again, but since we are professional actors, we quickly got over it to make the scene work.)

Dennis confesses feeling nervous about working with Bea on their first shooting day.

"Hindi talaga maiaalis yung ilangan. Sobrang nerbyos ko rin at kaba ko. Na-starstruck ako everytime na ka-eksena ko ito. Nakaka-pressure so kailangan galingan ko sa eksena. Bea Alonzo, box-office queen. Napakagaling din. Nakakakaba. But once makuha namin yung rhythm and camaraderie sa set, naging maganda yung flow at camaraderie namin," Dennis says.

(The first day of shooting can be nerve-wracking, and I'm feeling uneasy. I always get starstruck when sharing a scene with Bea Alonzo, so I feel pressure to perform my best. She's a box office queen and good at what she does. However, once we found our rhythm and camaraderie on set, our scenes started to flow well, and we developed a great working relationship.)

According to Bea, she finds spending time with the new series's cast enjoyable.

"I enjoy being with this group. Nag-eenjoy akong kasama ang grupo na ito. Nagpapasalamat ako sa GMA Network at Viu for everything they do in the project because mahal ko yung proyekto and yung mga tao na nandito. I couldn't ask for a project better than this kasi para sa akin, hindi magwo-work ang project na ito kung hindi kayo nagkakasundo, kung hindi kayo nagko-collaborate sa isa't isa. Kaya siguro nagwo-work ang grupo na ito. It's because we are willing to collaborate, and we respect one another's talent and brilliance," she says.

(Being with this group brings me great joy. I am immensely grateful to GMA Network and Viu for their contributions to this project. I adore the project and all the people involved. I couldn't have asked for a better project because it cannot succeed without collaboration and mutual respect. This group works well because we are willing to collaborate and appreciate each other's talents and brilliance.)

Dennis' character in the new series, Atom, is the opposite of his character in "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

"Nakakapanibago dahil ang ginampanan ko doon mga lumang tao. Sobrang diretso, malinaw siyang magsalita, maayos ang buhok niya. So yung mapapanood naman nila rito ay malayong-malayo naman. Magulo yung character ko rito si Atom," he says.

(In my previous series, I portrayed straightforward characters, spoke clearly, and had neat hair. However, in this series, my character Atom is messy.)

This also marks the reunion of Bea and Dennis. Joining them are Sparkle leading lady Andrea Torres and award-winning actor Sid Lucero.
