QC, Rizal to experience water disruptions

Quezon City and Taytay, Rizal will experience water interruptions starting Sunday, Sept. 24 to Thursday, Sept. 28.

According to Manila Water Co. and Maynilad Water Services Inc., the barangays in QC and Rizal are scheduled to undergo network maintenance, leak repair, and line meter replacement.

All water activities are to be conducted during late evenings to early mornings to prevent any further nuisance.

Below are the list of affected areas and their schedule:

Sept. 23 until 10 PM

Quezon City – Brgys. Sangandaan and Talipapa


Sept. 24 to 25, from 10 PM to 6 AM

Quezon City – Brgy. Sangandaan


Sept. 26 to 27, from 10 PM to 4 AM

Quezon City – Parts of Brgy. Kamuning


Sept. 27 to 28, from 10 PM to 4 AM

Taytay, Rizal – Parts of Brgy Dolores

Both water concessionaires remind residents to stock up on adequate water supply to mitigate the inconvenience.

Once the maintenance in the areas is completed, households are advised to conduct tap flushing until the water becomes clear. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
