The establishment of super health centers in rural areas, DOH said, played a vital role in providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate healthcare services to Filipinos.

The turnover was spearheaded by Undersecretary Abdullah B. Dumama, Jr., and Center for Health Development-Region IX Regional Director Joshua Brillantes.

"In partnership with other agencies and our stakeholders, the DOH remained committed to expanding universal health care services. Ito rin ay naaayon sa 8-Point Action Agenda ni Secretary Teodoro Hebosa na bawat Pilipino ay ramdam ang kalusugan (This aligned with Secretary Teodoro Hebosa's 8-Point Action Agenda, ensuring that every Filipino experienced improved health),” Dumama said.

DOH said the Super Health Center inauguration marked a significant step forward in enhancing healthcare accessibility for the people of Zamboanga City.

It also underscored the government's commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to all.

Also in attendance at the ceremony were Zamboanga City Mayor Hon. John Dalipe and Hon. Jade Jamolod, who represented Senator Bong Go. (Zekinah Elize Espina)
