151 applicants hired on the spot in job fair

SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte – One-hundred fifty-one applicants were hired on the spot during the “Naruay a Panggedan” job fair held in a popular mall here in line with the 106th birth anniversary celebration of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. recently.

Anne Marie Lizette B. Atuan, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) manager, said the day-long job fair had 495 applicants and 34 private companies, 11 national government agencies (NGAs), and three overseas recruitment companies participating.

Those who were not hired on the spot are awaiting calls from the companies where they applied. Atuan said they will help follow-up their applications.
