The victim’s remains were found by a resident who passed by the area.

Montaño said the victim was identified by his parents who went to the police station on Thursday, September 14, after learning about the incident.

He said the victim was last seen alive by his parents when he left their house around 10 a.m. on September 12.

Montaño said the victim might have been dumped in the area after he was killed somewhere as there was no indication that the crime was committed there. He said there were no injuries visible on the victim’s body.

Montaño said they are looking into something personal as possible motive in the incident. Police have no lead yet on the identity of the perpetrators.
