9 Barangays in QC affected by water interruptions

Manila Water Co. announced four parts of Quezon City will experience water interruptions starting Tuesday, Sept. 19 to Friday, Sept. 22.

Because of this, certain areas of roads and highways in QC are expected to close for the line maintenance.

Regardless, all activities are set during late evenings to early mornings to avoid inconvenience to the public.

Below are the affected barangays and their schedule:

Sept. 19 to 20, from 10 PM to 4 AM

Parts of Brgy. Old Capitol Site

Sept. 20 to 21, from 10 PM to 4 AM

Parts of Brgy. Bagumbayan and Ugong Norte

Sept. 21 to 22, from 10 PM to 4 AM

Parts of Brgy. Teacher Village East, Sikatuna Village, UP Village, and San Vicente

Sept. 21 to 22, from 10 PM to 4 AM

Parts of Brgy. Ugong Norte and Bagumbayan

Manila Water advises residents to stock up on their water supply. Once the disruptions are finished, the water concessionaire asks households to allow the water to flush out of the taps for a few minutes until the water becomes clear. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
