LUCBAN, Quezon – Police arrested a 72-year-old widow wanted for drug charges on Monday night, July 7, in Barangay 8, this town.
Police Major Marnie Abellanida, Lucban police chief, identified the suspect as Filipina Mabulay, a resident of Barangay 9, here.
Abellanida said that Mabulay was arrested through a warrant of arrest issued on September 12, 2014 by Judge Rodolfo Obnamia Jr., Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 64 in Mauban, Quezon, for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, with no bail recommended.
Mabulay was the No. 1 most wanted person on the municipal level under Case Operational Plan (COPLAN) Pina.
She is in the temporary custody of the Lucban Municipal Police Station.
