Government anti-narcotics authorities arrested on Monday night, Aug. 7, five people during a buy-bust operation in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the suspects as Emerson Centeno, Ryan Joseph Papina, Abdul-Hadrame Bantuas, Christian Jay Villanueva and Renato Mata.
After the arrest of the suspects, the PDEA central Luzon and local police immediately dismantled the drug den which has been the subject of numerous complaints from the resident of Barangay Kaypian and neighboring communities.
Aside from the more or less 15 grams of shabu, the operatives also confiscated assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
