Muntinlupa’s active Covid-19 case down to 1 anew


Muntinlupa’s total active Covid-19 case tally decreased to one again, according to data from the city government. 

Weekly tally from the City Health Office (CHO) showed that from Aug. 1 to 7, only one active Covid-19 case was recorded, down from two cases registered from July 25 to 31.

The only remaining active case is registered in Barangay Ayala Alabang while the other eight barangays in Muntinlupa now have zero active cases. 

From Aug. 1 to 7, Muntinlupa had nine new Covid-19 cases from 47,296 the previous week to 47,305. 

The number of recovered patients totaled 10 this week from 46,630 to 46,640. There were no deaths recorded and there are also zero probable and suspect cases. 

Meanwhile, the Department of Health (DOH) reported that 977 new Covid-19 cases were tallied from July 31 to Aug. 6, lower by 25 percent compared to the previous week. 

There were also 34 deaths recorded including 12 in the past two weeks. 

The Muntinlupa City government finished administering the bivalent Covid-19 vaccines last July 31 to healthcare workers, senior citizens, adults with comorbidities, pregnant and overseas Filipino workers scheduled for deployment within the next four months.
