Bulacan drug den dismantled, 5 arrested


A makeshift drug den was dismantled while five drug suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the authorities on Monday night, August 7, in Barangay Kaypian, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM).

In his report to Brig. Gen Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., Region 3 police director, Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said the police operation was carried out by the joint forces of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon and the Bulacan police.

Based on the reports of the operating teams, Col. Arnedo identified the arrested drug suspects as Emerson F. Centeno, 46, of Barangay Kaypian, CSJDM; Ryan Joseph Bualberto Papina, 40, of Barangay Francisco, CSJDM; Abdul-Hadrame Mapandi Bantuas, 40, of Barangay Sudapin, Kidapawan City, Cotabato; Christian Jay Sacriz Villanueva, 28, of Elfaville, Barangay Kaypian Proper, CSJDM, and Renato F. Mata, 43, of Barangay Kaypian Proper, CSJDM.

Recovered from the suspects were more or less 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated street value of P102,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
