Daily water service interruption in Bacoor, Imus to last until Nov. 2

CAVITE – Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) announced the extension of its daily water service interruption in parts of Bacoor City and Imus City until November 2.

From August 8, customers will have no water from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. as Maynilad conducts the second batch of ultrafiltration (UF) membranes replacement at Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2.

Affected areas in Bacoor include Molino II, Molino III, Molino IV, Mollino VI, Molino VII, Queens Row Central, Queens Row East, Queens Row West, and San Nicolas III.

In Imus, Maynilad customers in Pasong Buaya I and Pasong Buaya II will also experience water service interruptions.

Maynilad said it is replacing all 14 UF membranes of the Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2 to maintain optimum filtration capacity.

The first three UF membranes have already been replaced, causing water service interruptions from June 28 to Aug. 8.

Affected customers, meanwhile, are advised to store water so they may have enough supply for their daily needs.
