Lone bettor wins P22.8-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

A solo bettor won the Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize worth P22,896,342.80 in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office's (PCSO) lotto draw on Saturday, Aug. 5.

The lucky player correctly guessed the 34-35-24- 20-36-39 Lotto 6/42 winning digit combination.

Eleven bettors will also claim P24,000 each for the second prize while 790 players won P800 each for the third prize.

Meanwhile, the Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot prize worth P41,184,730.20 is still up for grabs as no bettor hit the lucky digit combination of 43-15-02-33-16-25.

Seven Grand Lotto bettors, however, are set to claim P100,000 each for winning the second prize, while 535 players won P1,500 each for the third prize.

The winning number combinations for the digit games were 9-2-6-7-2-5 for 6D Lotto, 5-6-8 for 3D Lotto, and 17-04 for 2D Lotto.

The next Grand Lotto 6/55 and Lotto 6/42 will be drawn on Aug. 7 and 8, respectively. (Sonny Daanoy)
