At their graduation ceremony, Atasha delivered the student vote of thanks. And as expected, she gave it with conviction and grace. Here are the three inspiring lessons from her speech:

Take a moment to celebrate small things
“It is a time of endings and new beginnings. We embark of a fresh chapter of our lives,” she says. “But before taking this leap forward, let's take a moment and appreciate and celebrate all that we've accomplished. From the initial steps into those lecture theatres and seminars filled with nerves and unfamiliar faces to this very moment and being able to look back at the unforgettable memories with those around you, which will forever be etched in our hearts. All the hard work and sleepless nights in the libraries and meet deadlines, becoming a community filled with long lasting friendships from all around the world and different walks of life.”

Treasure memories
“Thank you to our families for providing and the support and believing in us to achieve our goals and dreams. I can confidently say that we will all be looking back on your time here in NTU filled with nothing but invaluable memories of joy and laughter with those next to you, especially during a time of constant change,” she says.  “NTU has taught us students how to adapt and be resilient during these challenging times. Which makes me excited as this is just the beginning of a new journey for us all embrace new opportunities and fearlessly faced challenges that come our way.”

• Embrace failure
“Knowing that we have the capability to do anything we set our minds to. Although the path to success is not linear, embrace failure as a lesson and that adversity be the catalyst for your achievements,” she says. “Never shy away from sharing your ideas and making a difference as we apart from one another.”

Atasha is the daughter of power couple Charlene Gonzales and Aga Muhlach. She is officially signed as a talent under Viva Artist Agency.
