Korean-American singer Eric Nam gets frustrated about Metro Manila’s bad traffic 


Korean-American singer Eric Nam got a taste of Metro Manila’s bad traffic situation and felt frustrated about it. 

He is in Manila for his “Eric Nam Live at Market! Market!” event that will be held on Aug. 5 at the Market! Market! mall in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

“Manila your traffic is unmatched,” Nam posted on X (formerly Twitter) at 6:59 p.m. on Aug. 2.

The post has become popular, garnering 1.5 million views, 5,064 retweets, more than 10,000 quotes and 51,400 likes on X as of this writing. He also trended on X. 

While he used the word “Manila,” Nam could be referring to Metro Manila. On Aug. 2, he was a guest on the GMA Network show "TikToClock."

He also performed at the Wish 107.5 Bus Roadshow at Eastwood City in Quezon City. The event started at 4 p.m. 

Filipino netizens replied to Nam’s post. Here are some of them:

Manila is ranked No. 9 among 390 cities in the world with the worst traffic, according to the 2022 TomTom Traffic Index
